Welcome to the latest update from TTWK. It’s been a while so lots to report on below:
Honouring the Elders: paid opportunities
Funding has been received for an exciting youth inclusion project. The Friends of Grange Community Park (FROG) would like to involve local youngsters in a creative project to interview and film elderly residents. The idea is both to learn about local history and what life was like before the age of cheap oil. Participants can use a mixture of writing, visuals and film material to share their results with the wider community.
Funding is available for someone to organise this exciting project asap liaising with Hilbre High School, FROG and TTWK. There are also funds available for project workers involved in the “hands on” work. Give Marko a ring if you are interested on 625 9974.
