TTWK update: Energy event this Tuesday

We have a great event coming up this Tuesday on energy in the home. Details below along with all the other latest TTWK news.

Energy seminar, November 22nd

TTWK is holding an Energy Efficiency and Home Renewables event this Tuesday, November 22nd. We are extremely fortunate to have David White as our speaker. David has a real passion for making our homes more energy efficient as well as exploiting all that renewable technology has to offer.

You can download the event poster which has more details here. The venue is the URC hall on Meols Drive. Refreshments will be served from 7pm and the event itself stats at 7.30pm.

Honouring our elders

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Honouring our Elders film screening on November 2nd at Hilbre High School. A superb website has been created which captures the work and spirit that has gone into this project. It’s well worth a look and you can find it here.

4th Hoylake Local Food Fair

Advance notice that the next Hoylake Local Food Fair will take place on Sunday, February 26, 10am-2pm.

If you attended the most recent Food Fair or any of our other recent events, we have created a feedback form for people to leave comments and suggestions. So, if you have something to say, please do take a couple of minutes to let us know what’s on your mind.

And finally...

Our friends at the Merseyside Cycling Campaign are extending an invitation to their Annual General Meeting speaker event. This will be held at the Quaker Meeting House on School Lane in Liverpool, on the 3rd of December (Saturday), beginning at 10am.

Confirmed guest speakers are:

Steve Evans - Cycling First Aid

Luciana Berger MP - Climate Change and the Role of Cycling

If you would like to come along, please register here

Please note that non Mersey Cycling Campaign members are asked for a £5 contribution to cover lunch.
