Wirral Ramblers are hosting a TTWK talk on Thursday, October 23rd. “Transition Town West Kirby: A community response to climate change and the end of cheap oil” will outline the underlying drivers of the Transition movement and the efforts underway locally to achieve a more resilient local community. It will also explain the links between peak oil and the credit crunch.Visitors are welcome and the event takes place at Alton House, 17 Shrewsbury Road, (corner of Alton Road), Oxton from 8.00pm.
