TTWK was very honoured to be asked to give a talk to the Wirral/Chester/North Wales branch of the Society of Friends (Quakers) on October 11th. It was very gratifying to find a high level of enthusiasm and personal commitment to the ideals of Transition and we would like to thank everyone there who made us feel very welcome. TTWK is of course committed to working with other local groups who are already working towards a sustainable society. We were reminded of the benefits of the freecycle network which we are only to happy to plug at it really is a wonderful resource which is growing rapidly as the impacts of peak oil are accumulating.
