Community tree planting November 22

Young and old worked hard planting a variety of fruit and nut trees as part of the first stage in establishing a community orchard at Grange Park. There will be more plantings to follow in the spring. The event was organised by Friends of Grange Park and supported by Transition Town West Kirby. Lovely pumpkin soup and cakes provided nourishment for the hungry workers!
