Our efforts to support the new Gilroy allotments site are proceeding apace. Plans include community facilities and plots for local special interest groups. If you would like to know more or get involved please get in touch.
As previously reported, TTWK is pressing for better recognition and support for sustainable transport. We recently carried out a community consultation in Newton with some very interesting results. You can read all about it on our blog site.
All of this is being fed into the current Transport Plan for Merseyside. The next stage of consultation starts with a breakfast briefing in Liverpool on Wednesday 8 September at 8.30 (all welcome), followed by community consultation which continues until the end of November. Please contact us if you would like to get involved.
You may remember that TTWK has spent a lot of time putting the Transition perspective to the recent local and regional strategy consultations. There have been major shake-ups in regional strategy of late and to see how we are responding to these follow this link.
Finally, to satisfy your artistic side why not come along to the Community Talent Show for an evening of music, poetry, arts and crafts. It’s on the evening of September 25th. You can get all the details here.
Yours in Transition
