Transition Town West Kirby update


TTWK Amazon Evening: Film Screening and Workshop , Monday, 2 April

An evening with inspirational film maker Nicola Peel. Amazonian craft on sale from 4.30pm. Proceeds towards installation of rainwater filtering systems for indigenous people whose drinking water is poisoned by oil. Suggested donation £4.

Easter Treasure Hunt & Prize Draw
Download TTWK's exciting treasure map for the Easter holidays.  Get out and about in West Kirby, solve the map, find what treasures are in some of our local independent shops, and read advice on how to foil pirates.  Correct entries go into a draw for Fairtrade Easter eggs and do-it-yourself egg hunt kits.

Calday Easter Fête
On Sat 31 March from 10 to 2pm
Lots of activities, including a farmers market and food fayre.  We have invited a whole range of quality food producers from across the region including, handmade chocolates, cakes & bakes, local meat, fruit, veg & dairy products.

Razor Clamming
On 8th March, another group spent a beautiful evening out on Meols beach foraging for razor clams.  Many thanks to Tim Baldock for offering to lead this again.
