update for February

Helpers Needed
The Farmers' Market is totally dependant on volunteers to keep it running.  Please consider joining our list of people who are happy be asked to help for half an hour from time to time - even if you can only do it once or twice a year!  It's a lovely atmosphere, you see lots of people you know coming to the market and it feels great to be able to help.  Email ttwk.food@gmail.com

Incredible Edible West Kirby
Friday 22nd February 2-3 pm

The Incredible Edible Community gardening project, as seen in Hoylake, is expanding into West Kirby.  Come and have some half term fun, planting raspberries in Grange Park.  Meet at the Scout Hut end of Grange Park, at the end of Lang Lane.  No need to book, just turn up.  Gardening experience is not essential, just keen interested people.  If you want to find out more or if you feel you can help in any way, please contact us: ttwk.incredibleedible@gmail.com or ring Carola: 07724175779

West Kirby Farmers Market
Sat 23rd February 9am to 1pm

Buy free range and organic meat, national award-winning cheeses, eggs, bread and cakes, vegetables and fruit, drinks, honey, preserves and more.

If you're interested in the provenance of your food, it's an opportunity to meet the people who grow, rear or produce the food that you buy and talk to them about what you are buying.  Find out about animal welfare, use of pesticides, how and where the food has been produced, what ingredients are in it and how best to cook or serve it. The Farmers' Market is very much a relationship about trust.
St Andrew's Church Hall, Graham Rd CH48 5DE
