Transition Town West Kirby update for November

Help needed please
We need more helpers at the launch of the Farmers' Market this Saturday (24th Nov).  Over time, we expect the market to settle down and run without a great number of volunteers, but we're obviously not sure how the first one will go and it would be great to have a few willing bodies around to deal with anything which arises.  So, whoever you are, if you're planning on coming anyway, and have 30-60 minutes to spare, please drop me an email (ttwk.food@gmail.com).  All welcome - it'll be fun and there's no implied commitment to help at future markets!

Bicycle Maintenance session
Friday 23rd November, 2pm

At West Kirby Fire Station Cycle Hub
Come and join this free session where Simon Wallis, Sustrans Bike It Officer will show you how to keep your bike safe and healthy.
Cycling is really taking off in West Kirby - it can be a fun, sociable, low-cost, healthy activity.  While you're at the Cycle Hub (on every Friday 1-3pm until 7th Dec), why not sign up for one of the many local courses or bike rides - dozens of others already have.  There is something here for everyone, from complete beginner to advanced mountain bike skills.
